How are you my friend. I know the feeling. I find it helpful to walk the dog before bedtime and contemplate the moon and stars. Related to your poem in a big way.

Hi Dave. Doing well, thanks for asking. And how are you? I’m with you on walking my dog at night under the moon and stars. Helps to re-calibrate the mind and soul.

This is great!! I am more busy now, retired, than I was working! I know some of it is my own fault. I try to remember to put people before projects. But that to do list does calm

me and keeps me focused. The gym is my happy place without my phone…

Thanks Rani! So easy to stay busy and not focused on what matters. But it sounds like you have that conquered, as I fully expected. Love your phrase—people before projects! Great advice!

This is not bad poetry. This is excellent!

OH, the woes of it all! Captured nicely, my friend. And how are you doing these days? 🩷🩷🩷

Thanks Margaret. Doing well and thanks for asking. And you? I miss seeing you and hope to catch you next time you’re in Colorado.

I'm doing well too. I miss getting to see you too! I'll be in Fort Collins on July 28 helping Kathleen launch her next book, and then again on Sept. 8 launching mine. And I'll be in Monument on Sep. 9 at Covered Treasures from 4-6. If any of those times and places work for you, it would be great to see you. If not, I certainly understand. Things are busy and distances can be far. Take care!

Thanks. I have those dates on the calendar and hopefully can make one.

OH---how l relate! It's like you're living in my brain. Much like a grocery list, l'm starting to make lists so l won't forget all of the NOWS.

"How are you, my friend?" Best line ever.

I like that line too. It's like it suddenly shifts all of the attention to the present time.

Thanks, Susan!
